Flower Mound Has heART Community Mural
Flower Mound Has heART is a community art initiative that focuses on the creation of public art centered around the themes of kindness, love, and inclusivity. The first heART work that will be created under this initiative will be at the Art in the Park festival in the form of a community mural.

Residents were asked to submit designs based on the aforementioned themes, and more than 20 beautiful submissions were received. A winning design was chosen, and was created by Beth Dilly - an art teacher and a member of our cultural art commission. Beth will draw her design onto an 8 foot x 12 foot wall that was built by our local Summit Club.

Then, the mural will be painted by local groups from the Flower Mound community during the festival. Upon completion, the wall will be transported to Parker Square where it will be on temporary display. Be sure to come out and cheer on the painters as they make this design come to life and create our first of many heART works that reflect the kindness and love that live in the community.
