Description
On Saturday, September 11, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the event that forever impacted our nation, Arlington Master Chorale presents two performances at the new Arlington ISD Center for Visual and Performing Arts. Join them as they honor and remember all the lost and affected victims. The concerts commemorate 9/11 as an event that forever impacted our nation.
Admission is free but tickets are required. Reserve your tickets in advance for the concerts at 3pm and 7pm. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. General admission seating. Attend in-person or watch the concerts livestreamed online, and read the program at arlingtonmasterchorale.com/livestream911.
The chorale performs Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber, Requiem for the Living by Dan Forrest, and a World Premier by Elaine Hagenberg titled Illuminare. Dr. Allen Hightower will be guest conductor of the Requiem, and composer Hagenberg will be in attendance. Former Mayor Jeff Williams will be Master of Ceremonies.
