Description
Bring your friends and family to the Downtown/University District to enjoy Arlington's annual Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, December 11. (Parade will continue as planned rain, snow or shine except in case of ice.) Enjoy the holiday pageantry, which culminates with the lighting of the Christmas tree. Don’t forget to bring your camera and take a picture with Santa before the parade at the Library at 100 S Center Street or after the tree lighting at the Levitt Pavilion. Look here for the most recently approved route. Traditionally the parade has started at the corner of Main and Center Streets. The parade travels West on Main Street, South on West Street, East on Abram Street and ends at the corner of Abram and East Street. With the changes to downtown, the route has changed every year for the past five years. Handicap parking is available in the lot at South Street and Oak Street.
