July 12–August 4, Friday–Sunday, 9pm
Arcadia Darling merges one of the earlier appearances of Peter Pan (in Kensington Gardens) with the more familiar tale that features adventures with Tinker Bell, The Lost Boys, and Captain Hook, while considering some of author J.M. Barrie’s childhood experiences as they relate to the birth of the character of Peter Pan.
The show’s title is a nod to the mythic Pan, Greek god of wilderness and fertility, whose principal seat of worship was rustic Arcadia. Featuring puppetry and live music. Presented by Hip Pocket Theatre. Adapted by Lake Simons and John Dyer with original music score by John Dyer. Directed by Lake Simons.
$20 adults; $15 seniors, teachers and military; $5 students/children.
