Description

On Saturday, October 14, a partial solar eclipse will be visible in Dallas. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is partnering with the Carnegie Institute of Science for an extraordinary event to safely experience the eclipse.

Activities:
Join fellow astronomy enthusiasts for this awe-inspiring event featuring live music, hands-on STEM activities, food trucks, games and more! Guests will also have full access to explore throughout the Museum.

Food and Beverage:
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the food trucks listed below. The Museum Café will also have special eclipse-themed snacks available for purchase, including beer and wine options. All guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks to our picnic area. Food trucks: Mi Cocina, Yummy Pizza, Sushi Dojo, El Chifrijo, Easy Slider, Cuates Kitchen, Mama Lama Sweets, Ruthie’s Rolling Café, Tiff’s Treats.

Eye Safety:
It is unsafe to view a solar eclipse without specialized eyewear. Viewing the sun directly or through a telescope, camera or binoculars can result in serious eye injury. Please note: Eclipse glasses will be provided for all attendees. Click here for more safety tips from NASA.
