Description
On Saturday, April 12, from 10am to 1pm, the City of Anna, Texas' annual Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Slayter Creek Park with multiple egg hunts for all kids, including students with special needs such as visual impairment. Attractions include selfie photos with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, bounce houses, a bubble bus, crafts and food vendors.
Traditional Egg Hunt:
All traditional egg hunts will begin at 11am at Slayter Creek Ballfields. Age groups will have designated fields. For families with multiple children, please attend the egg hunt for your oldest child.
2–3 years: Field 4
4–6 years: Field 3
7–10 years: Field 1
11–12 years: Field 2
Adaptive Egg Hunts:
Once again, Anna's Easter Eggstravaganza will feature Adaptive Egg Hunts specifically designed for children with special needs. Held at the at Slayter Creek Splash Pad in a controlled, sensory-friendly environment, these Adaptive Egg Hunts offer multiple formats: beeping eggs, eggs placed at accessible heights, sensory-friendly zones, and spaces designed for mobility aids. Registration is requested for Adaptive Egg Hunt participants.
Beeping Egg Hunt for Children with Visual Impairments (all ages): 10am
2–3 years: 10:15am
4–6 years: 10:30am
7–10 years: 10:45am
11–12 years: 11:15am
13 years old: 11:30am
