Description

ACH Child and Family Services is holding its first-ever Run for Hope, a virtual 5K and Family Fun Run event to raise awareness and funds in support of abused and neglected children.

From now until Sept. 5, individuals and families with children of all ages are invited to walk, jog, bike, or skate at their own pace to support the children in ACH’s care, and to share their activity through social media so everyone can join in on the fun.

The Run for Hope replaces the annual Super Hero Family Fun Fest, so all participants to dress up as their favorite superhero or athlete, snap a selfie, and tag ACH on social media using #ACHRunforHope. They can also make a monetary donation or donate a cuddly Hope the Bear to warm the hearts of the children in ACH's care.

Inspired by ACH’s Hope the Bear, Run for Hope offers many safe and healthy ways to be a hero for our children. Participants can set goals for themselves, family and friends to accomplish their 5K or Family Fun Run anytime through Sept. 5.

There are multiple ways to participate:
-People can register individually, or as a family/team, and then run/jog/walk/bike/skate at their own pace and time to accomplish it together. Super hero outfits are highly encouraged.
-Friends and families can set a fundraising goal.
-Individuals can also make a monetary donation or give our Hope the Bear teddy bear to a child in our care.

About ACH Child and Family Services:
With over a century of experience, ACH, a Fort Worth-based nonprofit agency, brings needed resources and skills to children and families struggling with life’s challenges. Some of our 17 programs and services keep children and families together while others provide a healing home for children who can't live with their families.

And through the Our Community Our Kids division, ACH is leading the way in Community-Based Care in seven counties of the Texas foster care system. Our vision is for families to thrive and children to experience safety, hope and love.
