It’s a very merry December in Allen! You can discover more magic for your holiday season during these holiday festivities, from the annual Holly Jolly Celebration, to pictures of pets with Santa, to festive activities, countless lights and family photo-ops.

Holly Jolly Celebration
Saturday, December 7, 4–8pm
Downtown Allen
Allen's beloved holiday event kicks off with the Holly Jolly 5K & Fun Run and activities throughout the night. The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Drone Show will begin at 6pm.

Letters to Santa
November 30–December 14
Write Santa to let him know what you want for Christmas! Keep an eye on your mailbox for a special response. Drop letters off at Joe Farmer Recreation Center, Terrell Recreation Center, Don Rodenbaugh Aquatics Center, or submit online.

Santa Paws
Thursday, December 12, 5:30–7:30pm
Historic Train Depot
Bring your favorite leashed furry, four-legged friends for a festive picture with Santa! All registrants will receive a printed copy of their picture to take home. Hot chocolate (for humans) and milk and cookies will be available. Donations welcome, and all proceeds will go to the Allen Animal Shelter. Register here.

Pet Santa's Reindeer
Thursday, December 12, 5–8pm
Allen Heritage Village
Visit some of Santa’s reindeer before they take flight on Sunday. Live reindeer will be here at the pavilion to pet and see up-close. No registration is required to attend.

North Pole Market
Saturday, December 14, 9:30am–2:30pm
Joe Farmer Recreation Center
Join Santa at his workshop at JFRC! Visit the North Pole to meet Santa and experience a festive wonderland. Participants can purchase gifts from Santa's toy shop, create holiday crafts, enjoy a delightful breakfast with Santa, and capture the magic with a photo. Get more details.

Holidays On Ice Show
Sunday, December 15, 3–5pm
Credit Union of Texas Event Center
Join this special production brought to you by the Allen Academy skaters, coaches and staff. Hear all of your favorite holiday songs performed by skaters of all ages and level. Free admission with a non-perishable food donation to All Community Outreach (ACO).
