Location: 2681 Lake Ridge Road, Lewisville
Why it’s noteworthy: East Hill Park is one of the larger parks in Lewisville and also the newest. It is nestled beside a cute neighborhood.
Extras: This playground is next to a walking trail that leads to the nearby neighborhood — another outlet if your little one still needs to blow off some steam. East Hill Park would be a great spot to have a picnic, as there are several covered tables a few steps away from the structures. This playground is also just a stone’s throw away from the boat ramp.
Safety: East Hill Park scored an A on the Safety Report Card. There are separate playgrounds for smaller children and the bigger kids, but there are no signs specifying ages.
Pluses & minuses:
+ Covered picnic tables
+ Multiple slides
– No restrooms
– Few swings
Our grade: 3/5 stars
