Counseling
I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas in August of 2016. I have been a practitioner for five years and am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. I specialize in Person Centered Therapy and employ a multidimensional approach to counseling. My main focus, in every session, is to provide you with unconditional positive regard and to create a space where you know that you are understood, and most of all, safe. I consider it the highest honor to be invited to come alongside you and to walk with you.
I have worked extensively with clients who have experienced trauma, as well as with those who have suffered in silence with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I love working with shame and all things Brene Brown (she’s a genius). While I have several areas of interest, my main focus has been on treating individuals who are suffering from addiction, depression and anxiety. I am constantly striving to obtain more and more knowledge and experience so I can continue to grow alongside each of my clients.
