My family had been with an ABA provider previously that had caused major trauma for my boys and myself. We were desperate for help and they took advantage of this. After many years of healing and being a hard advocate against ABA we gave it another look as my son needed behavioral help. I also saw that things were changing for the better in ABA. When we found Victoria she listened and understood. She took it slow, allowed us to be involved with their care as much as possible. She gave the boys lots of grace, space, and time. Over the 1st 6 months she amazed us. She loved us and gave us reason to believe in the field again
The boys are thriving and love going there. They have made huge gains and I have even seen spontaneous language from my non-verbal. They are so happy there and so are we. Victoria continues to involve us. It is a group effort where we are valued members of the group. I will forever be grateful to the whole center. I have since returned to my degree that I had abandoned after the trauma. I will graduate with my ABA certificate in 2026 and become a BCBA like Victoria and change other families lives as she is changing ours. —Camille, Weatherford
