This means she can not only medically diagnose and treat most diseases with medications and other interventions, but she also has the expertise to care for breastfeeding mothers and their infants. She does so in the most conservative and evidence-based way. I felt incredibly secure in her care, because she knew exactly how to support me as a lactating mother with a newborn.
