Texas Ballet Theater Schools (TBTS) are proud to be training the next generation of artists, athletes, and aficionados.

Our curriculum is designed to nurture students by strengthening their dance technique, creating a life-long appreciation for ballet, and helping develop their confidence, discipline, and creativity—enriching their lives long after classes have concluded. TBTS students have the exclusive opportunity to perform in “The Nutcracker” alongside our professional company. Performances take place at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth and the Winspear Opera House in Dallas. Through every level of dance class, we are committed to helping every student advance.

Preschoolers learn the basics of music and movement while older students sharpen their technique and challenge themselves to grow.

Through Boys’ Classes, young men are introduced to the specific strengths required for male ballet dancers. Adaptive Dance creates a space uniquely suited to the needs of young dancers with Down syndrome or a similar diagnosis.

For advanced students aiming for a professional dance career, our Professional Division prepares them by offering more performance opportunities, exposure to our Artistic leadership, and training with world-class guest choreographers. Adults are also invited to join the fun! Our adult class offerings include ballet, tap, Pilates, and more.

Whether you’re brand-new to ballet, coming back to the barre, or just looking for a new workout routine, there’s a class for you. TBTS has three, conveniently-located studios in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Richardson. Among our faculty you’ll find current and former professional dancers, ready to invest in your student.
