Additional information

For over 69 years, Museum School® has been opening young minds to a world of natural wonder. Today, Museum School continues to be a national model for informal science education. Museum School offers engaging summer learning opportunities for children who will be age 3-9 by May 31, 2019. The summer program includes a variety of classes for preschool and school-age children that feature animals, dinosaurs, space, engineering, chemistry and more. Classes are enriched with topic-related Museum specimens, science investigations, creative activities and other hands-on explorations.

Each summer class session runs Monday through Thursday (with the exception of the July 4 week.) The majority of classes are two hours long, mornings 9:30-11:30 am (preschool and school-age classes) and afternoons from 12:30-2:30 pm (school-age classes only, preschool classes are not available) and are $160.00 per class/per session. In addition, Lunch Bunch – an optional supervised lunch program – is available each session for age 5-9 students who are enrolled in both a morning AND afternoon class in the same session. Lunch Bunch extends a school-age child’s day by connecting a morning and afternoon class.

The Summer 2019 Museum School class brochure will post on the Museum’s website www.fortworthmuseum.org on February 25 and registration opens at that time. At the top of the Museum’s home page, is a menu of options. Choose the “Learn” option, open “Museum School” and you will find information on all Museum School programs. The Summer 2019 class brochure features more details about classes, an at-a-glance schedule grid with dates, times, availability, fees plus the registration form and instructions.

For questions about the classes or registration process call 817-255-9333 or send an Email to museumschool@fwmsh.org. We look forward to seeing your family this summer!
