Before speech therapy my son didn’t use any spontaneous speech. After his speech evaluation with Mrs. Shelby she knew right away what Oliver was struggling with and came up with goals and ways to better help him. As a parent it’s difficult to see your child struggle and at that moment it was relieving to know what he needed help with. Now that Oliver is 1 year into speech therapy, he has come so incredibly far. He’s talking, communicating, singing, and having conversations. He’s doing everything a 3.5 yr old should be doing. It may not be perfect but we are definitely getting there. Mrs. Shelby has been amazing and Oliver looks forward to his sessions every week with her. I will always be grateful for everything she has done and the tools she has given us as his parents to help him grow in his speech journey. —Gabrielle, Fort Worth
