The mission of Key School is to support students with learning differences through individualized instruction, training, and advocacy. Our vision is to help create a world where children with learning differences, regardless of financial ability, receive the education and services they need to thrive. Key School’s campus in Fort Worth serves 92 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. Students and families reside throughout Tarrant, Dallas, and Parker Counties.
Key School assists students with learning differences through small classes and individually tailored instruction, utilizing their strengths in order to reach their academic and social potential. Key School is fully accredited by AdvancED and has a proven track record of increasing the academic achievement of students with learning differences. Notably, the Key School Summer Program assists students from the community who may require additional remediation, reinforcement, and enrichment of academic skills during the summer.
At Key, students gain self-confidence after feeling defeat in other learning environments. They read and write at or above grade level and experience success for the first time in their educational journey. Students are able to expand their horizons and attend college when it was not an option before attending Key School.
