Pediatrics is a passion for Dr. Indran Liu! She truly believes in the potential and uniqueness of every child and patient. Her goal is to be a partner for families and help children be healthy so that they can do what children do best—laugh, love, and live life to the fullest.
Dr. Liu has lived in many places before settling in the great state of Texas. She graduated college from University of California Los Angeles, medical school from Kansas City University, and pediatrics residency from East Carolina University in North Carolina. Throughout this journey, her guiding light has always been to serve children of all ages and abilities. Before becoming a physician, she even worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism. These invaluable and rewarding experiences taught her that every child, no matter their diagnosis, has limitless potential and means more than just a statistic. Throughout residency, she has also tackled several important topics in pediatric healthcare ranging from presentations on opioid use in her community to ensuring quality care for children in the foster system. She has also maintained a strong interest providing high quality preventative healthcare.
Moving from state to state due to her medical education and her husband’s military career, Dr. Liu has learned to live by the phrase “bloom where you are planted.” She is excited to call Texas home and cannot wait to help the kids at Cook Children’?s grow and blossom.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband, two dogs, and chinchilla. They enjoy swimming, going on walks, and watching movies.

She is such a lovely person that explains very well. I didn’t know what a tongue tye was when I thought it was nothing to worry about. She explained to me that it could affect breastfeeding and speech. She didn’t pressure me into getting it cut either but said that if I ever changed my mind she that a children’s dentist would help. She is very helpful, happy, and remembers my children. I would love to keep her as my kids pediatrician forever. —Anna, Fort Worth
