Eric Hopkins, MD

Dr. Hopkins grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. He joined Cook Children’s Physician Network in 2002 and has been practicing at the Grapevine primary care office ever since. He is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hopkins lives with his wife and two children in Plano, where he is active in their academic and athletic pursuits.

We had a very rough start with my son who was an IUGR baby born 4 pounds at 39 weeks. We spent 3 weeks in NICU. As a new mom I had a ton of anxiety and questions and Dr. Hopkins always made himself available to me and my son even from his personal cell. My son started out in the less than 1 percentile for height and weight and he’s now in the 50 percentile thanks to Dr. Hopkins’ compassionate care and guidance.
