Summer Camp for Students Age 9 to 18 at a Tony Award®-Winning Theater
Take your student's passion to a new level through a fun, enriching and unique two-week class or three-week intensive in acting, musical theater, playwriting or theater production.

MUSICAL THEATER, AGES 9-12
Students will have a blast working as an ensemble to put on a show! Musical Theater places emphasis on healthy singing and telling a story through song, with additional training in dance and acting. With the guidance of professional artists and educators, students develop and cultivate theater skills that will serve them well in life. Students have the option to attend Musical Theater in the morning, Acting in the afternoon OR attend both sessions and stay all day long!
ACTING, AGES 9-12
Students will have a blast working as an ensemble to put on a show! Acting introduces kids to creating a character and taking the stage, with additional classes in movement and design. With the guidance of professional artists and educators, students develop and cultivate theater skills that will serve them well in life. Students have the option to attend Musical Theater in the morning, Acting in the afternoon OR attend both sessions and stay all day long!
TEEN ACTING INTENSIVE, AGES 13-18
Teen Acting Intensive provides advanced training for students desiring an intensive theater experience, under the guidance of professional actors and directors. Classes include Movement, Monologue/Audition Prep, Voice and Performance.
TEEN PRODUCTION INTENSIVE, AGES 13-18
Teens interested in production will dig deeper into the five primary disciplines, props, lights, sound and costumes in a two week morning camp. This session is ideal for the tech teen, either as a stand alone class or in combination with Teen Musical Theater. Students in our Teen Production Intensive will have the opportunity to apply the skills they are learning during our Teen Musical Theater showcase. Positions available include stage management, wardrobe, props and set crew, light board operation, and sound board operation.
TEEN MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE, AGES 13-18
Back by popular demand, our three-week Musical Theater Intensive is perfect for teens who dream of performing under Broadway lights! Students will receive rigorous dance, voice, and actor training, culminating in a final musical theater showcase.
TEEN PLAYWRITING INTENSIVE, AGES 13-18
Teen Playwriting Intensive is an extremely unique opportunity for young writers to learn from the pros. Through a series of dynamic exercises and discussions, students will sharpen their skills and tell their stories while being exposed to the most exciting new voices in American theater.
Classes will be split between the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201 and the Kalita Humphreys Theater, 3636 Turtle Creek Blvd., Dallas TX 75219
