We know that finding the right school is important for your child's development. Studies have shown that foreign language immersion in primary years elevates a student's ability to succeed in other academics. This is why Dallas International School was founded in 1976 as the first and only school in Dallas to offer students a unique bilingual education in French and English, and an additional third language in Spanish, Mandarin and German. The school continues to grow and thanks to the hybrid education system between a French and American-based curriculum, we prepare our students for academic success through our unique International Baccalaureate (IB) and French Baccalaureate (FB) programs that work to the strengths and interests of every student. 12th grade students go on with not just one high school diploma that is accepted by the Texas Education Code (TEC), but also a second one with an International Baccalaureate (IB) or French Baccalaureate (FB) certificate. Academic success is our commitment to our students as we strive to guide them to lead more fulfilling lives and become global leaders of tomorrow.
From Pre-School to 12th grade, students are exposed from a very young age to appreciate diverse views thanks to the incredibly international community they belong. Made up of over 33 nationalities, the school is proud of its culturally rich body of students and teachers that make up the fabric of its identity at Dallas International School.
