Dallas Aquatics is the division of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department responsible for the operation of Bachman Indoor Pool, Bahama Beach Waterpark and seasonal outdoor aquatic centers and swimming pools located throughout the City. Dallas Aquatics is dedicated to providing high quality aquatic programs and experiences that are safe, fun and affordable, and that promote water safety and the enjoyment of swimming as a lifelong recreational pursuit.
The Cove Aquatic Centers will open for the season on Saturday, May 23, 2020. These large facilities feature an 8-lane lap pool with a diving board, climbing wall, and basketball goal, open and closed flume slides, current channel, crossing activity, toddler pool with an interactive play structure, shade structures, group pavilion, picnic tables and lounge chairs, a bath house with family changing rooms, lockers and a concession stand.
Bahama Beach Waterpark will also open on May 23rd with three new attractions – the Boomerango slide, a toddler spray pad, and a lagoon pool. If you haven’t been lately, this is the year to visit!
Aquatic Centers at Kidd Springs, Lake Highlands N., Tietze, Harry Stone, and Exline will open on May 30th along with 9 community pools.
