Christina began counseling my 16 year old son last year after he suffered the loss of his father and grandfather to COVID within two weeks of each other. He was hesitant to begin counseling but agreed to go for five weeks to give him someone to talk to. Once his first five weeks completed he was already so comfortable with Christina that he never questioned the need to have a counselor since. He continues to see her now and knows that she is a safe place for him. She knows how to read his comfort level and makes him see things outside of his normal “box”. She has helped him cope with his initial responses of anger and how to deal with anxiety (that he didn’t even know he was showing signs of). She is beyond mom approved—we love her! —Anne, Keller
