This practice supports black maternal health and supported me for successful vbac. They listened to me after I was postpartum and noticed a headache and caught my post Partum hypertension early and we were able to treat it without a readmission. They are very family centered and take the time to get to Know their parents. This was my second pregnancy and a completely different and non traumatic experience thanks to this practice. I always felt i could call and ask questions when i wasn’t sure of the norms of a post vaginal recovery.
I received fabulous care from Carla and her team throughout my entire pregnancy. Every question was always answered and I had a list full at each appointment. When my plans changed they were there to reassure me and remind me of the end goal while still listening to my concerns not pushing any recommendations on me too fast and still giving me control over my body. I loved going to the doctor and felt like family not just a number at each visit.

Truly love this practice! My first positive pregnancy and birth experience were with these wonderful women who made me feel heard and important.
Carla made my Husband and I feel very welcomed and truly cared for during our pregnancy journey. I had a rough labor with my daughter and she made me feel confident and empowered during delivery. I can’t wait to have our next baby with the FWMA.

Carla and the midwives at the FWBC are incredible! They have provided excellent care for both my girls’ births – one an emergency c-section and the other a hospital VBAC. I have always felt valued and cared for by this team.
