Plano Symphony Orchestra Summer Programs

Two-week summer orchestra programs July 7–18, 2025, for woodwind, brass, string, and percussion students in 3rd–12th grade. The morning Summer Camp session is open to instrumental students of all levels. The afternoon session is comprised of an advanced Institute orchestra and an intermediate Academy orchestra and requires an audition. Students not accepted into the afternoon session will be placed in the appropriate morning session orchestra

All sessions include full orchestra rehearsals and a variety of classes including conducting, music therapy, instrument repair, and improvisation. All students will perform in final concerts on July 18, 2025, at 6 PM.

SUMMER CAMP
Time: 9 AM-12 PM
Tuition: $200 on or before Mar. 31, 2025
All levels—minimum of 1 year of instrumental instruction and ability to read printed music.

SUMMER INSTITUTE AND ACADEMY
Time: 1-5 PM
Tuition: $300 on or before Mar. 31, 2025
Intermediate and advanced students. Recommended for students in 8th–12th grade
