ArtsVision Summer Camp

ArtsVision Summer Camp has been bringing performing and visual arts program to Dallas for over 10 years. Youth in grades 3rd through 10th are invited to join us July 10–21 from 8am–4:30pm at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, for an awesome musical theater experience. This year’s production is THE WIZ, JR. Students will audition before camp starts and will have an opportunity to attend an audition workshop before their final audition. Every student who wants to hit the stage will be cast!

Student interns are in grades 11th–12th and will work alongside our professional teaching artists as they share their talents and skills with the “youngsters.”

Campers also have an opportunity to learn the backstage of theater, lighting, sound, costuming, stage management and more. In addition, students can also take part in specialty classes such as cultural drumming, dance, acting, voice and learn to play the ukulele! At the end of the camp, will be THE BIG SHOW. This is where the students show off their talent and skills in what they have learned in their specialty classes followed by the “feature presentation” THE WIZ, JR. on stage at the Montgomery Arts Theater Stage!

Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided and we plan an exciting camp field trip each year. So, why not “Ease on Down the Road” with ArtsVision this summer. Can’t wait to see you!
