Calling all youth! Ease on down the road and join ArtsVision Performing and Visual Arts in our 2020 Musical Theater Camp. Join us as you learn to sing, dance, act, and meet new friends. Learn to make a film or build a costume, or you can be a techie and run lighting and sound! Enjoy drumming and learn to play the guitar. This year’s production will be “The Wiz, Jr.” (The Super Soulful musical based on The Wonderful Wizard of OZ).

Parents, ArtsVision is a nonprofit child-centered fine arts program, offering high-quality performing and visual arts experiences that allows school-aged youth (in grades 4 through 10) to grow artistically and personally through programs that are fun, educational, and exciting. The mission of ArtsVision is to provide Dallas area youth intensive, innovative, well-rounded programs that focus on the arts for youth while helping youth build self-esteem, confidence, find their creative voice.

Camp dates are July 20 through August 1st on the campuses of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, in the Dallas Arts District. ArtsVision is an all-day camp, so drop youth can be dropped off as early as 7:30 am and are picked up after 4:30 pm. Breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack are provided daily. Programs are conducted by professional teaching artists and high school interns, primarily from Booker T. Washington High School. ArtsVision is a donation-based program.
