The Amon Carter Museum of American Art offers a diverse array of exhibitions, programs, and publications that connect visitors to masterworks of American art for the entire family. Interactive programs for kids and their families are offered year round with most included in free general admission. From programs for those 2 years of age and under to events for children with special needs to teen experiences, the Amon Carter offers a fun and engaging way for visitors of all ages to discover, create, and connect with art. The museum’s renowned collection of art is housed in a Philip Johnson masterpiece in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District. Admission to the museum galleries and special exhibitions is always free. The museum is open Tuesday–Saturday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Thursday until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12–5 p.m. Closed Mondays and major holidays. For questions call 817.738.1933.
