The ACT provides opportunities in the performing arts for all children to express their own unique creativity. Since 1999, The ACT has inspired children across North Texas to grow in their love of the performing arts, all while consistently providing audiences with high-quality, community-based children’s theater. Through many seasons, our mission has always remained the same: To foster the education of great classic literature for the young and young at heart, through a dedication to outstanding, all-inclusive, family-oriented theatre, right here in our own community. The ACT features seven main stage productions each year in which all children who audition receive a role in the show. With full sets and costumes, the production culminates in live public performances. During spring break and in the summer months, The ACT features one-week and two-week camp productions. During the school year, The ACT offers several classes each semester in musical theatre, dance, technical theatre, acting classes, play labs and a show choir.
