Davis Park in Highland Park

Don’t let chilly temperatures put a damper on playtime! Bundle up the kids and head over to Highland Park’s Davis Park. Nestled among shady trees by the park’s creek, this playscape earned an A on DallasChild’s Safety Report Card.*

Separate play areas will keep children of all ages busy. Little arms will get a big workout on the climbing areas, and eight slides of varying sizes are sure to get kids moving. Keep an eye on running children, as some parts of the perimeter around the playscapes are shy of the recommended 6-foot padded zone. The playground is within walking distance of Highland Park’s beautiful neighborhoods, but leave your stroller at home: One side of the park has steep stairs leading down to the playground.

This review was distributed to Highland Park Parks and Recreation for further review and/or action.
