Location: 1362 Daffodil Lane, Lewisville. Between Honeysuckle and Sunflower lanes.
Why it’s noteworthy: The playground offers a variety of activities, including five slides, four free climbing options and a swing set. However, the paint is almost completely worn off the equipment and there is no separate play area for smaller children, as well as no signage indicating what age group the playground is built for.
Extras: A large pavilion next to the playground has four picnic tables and a grill, making it a great place for family outings. Two open fields on opposite sides of the park are ideal spots for running and free play.
Safety: The playground scored a B* on the Safety Report Card. Beware of the railroad track running along the back side of the park. Although there is a fence between the playground and tracks, the sound of passing trains may startle younger children.
