College Street Park, located in Old Town Lewisville, is a great spot to take busy kids itching to burn off some steam. Ample parking flanks both sides of the colorful Little Tikes playground, which is directly in front of the Old Town Aquatics Park, and there’s a basketball court and playfield with backstop nearby. Twisty tube slides and climbing walls will keep older kids busy, but little ones run the risk of being run over, as there’s no separate play area to cater to them. Also noticeably absent are swings, which may be a deal-breaker for swing-loving kiddos. College Street Park’s playground scored an A* on NorthTexasChild’s Safety Report Card for a safe design. Just keep an eye on any Spider-Man wannabes near the tube slide; they might be tempted to scale its exterior. 535 W. College, Lewisville.
