Vibe: There are some things that don’t need an ounce of Dallas-Fort Worth glamour to be outstanding. Braum’s is one of those things. Part fast food, part supermarket, Braum’s makes an impressive ice cream sundae on the side. But that’s not surprising for an 80-year old dairy establishment from Kansas.
Why it’s tot-friendly: A fast-food establishment, complete with ice cream sundaes and a playground – what’s not for a little one to love? Let them get sticky with their sundaes and hit the play place to burn off some of that energy (not necessarily in that order!).
Be sure to try: Have a hot fudge banana split, and don’t mess with perfection.
Good to know: If you know what you like, no need to look at the menu. The expert ice cream sundae architects can craft any sundae any way you like it.
Best times to go with kids: After sporting events, after dinner, before dinner, celebrating for any reason … there’s really no wrong time to stop by for a sundae.
