Bob Woodruff Park in Plano

Bob Woodruff Park on San Gabriel Road in Plano has age-appropriate structures and safety features that parents can take comfort in such as adequate guardrails, safe levels of loose fill and suitable surface materials. The height of all equipment is eight feet or lower and free of noticeable gaps, head entrapments and missing or broken parts. The play structures have many features kids will enjoy such as a climbing wall, bridge and slides. Additionally, a covered pavilion nearby provides shaded seating and makes an ideal spot for a brown-bag lunch.

Although kids can be easily seen on the equipment platforms and bridges, the crawl spaces lack peepholes, making visibility difficult. Also, parents should be aware of foreign objects and litter around the play structures that children might accidentally trip on or try to put into their mouths.
