Bicentennial Park Playground in Frisco

Complete with a climbing structure, see-saw, a swing set and a play structure with three slides, Bicentennial Park playground (9375 Sunset Drive) in Frisco has fun options for little adventurers. Parents can feel comfortable taking the whole family—including the newest addition—since the swing set is equipped for both babies and kids. Although the playground has many safety features, such as suitable surfacing materials and appropriate height of equipment, the playground does not have separate areas for ages 2-5 and 5-12. The main play structure lacks guardrails in some places, so small children at play (ages 5 and under) should be closely supervised. In addition, the structure’s platforms do not allow for easy change of direction to get on or off the equipment, and with busy children in a hurry to explore and play, this could potentially result in a collision. With no rules posted regarding expected behavior, parents should exercise caution while children play on the main play structure.
