Baseball Centers for Kids

As the season starts up, you’ll catch the familiar scent of hotdogs and garlic fries wafting from the newly christened Globe Life Park in Arlington. Carry on America’s great pastime to your child by checking out these local facilities where they’ll develop the speed to run the bases and the strength and hand-eye coordination for throwing, catching and batting.

Extra Innings
Extra Innings offers indoor clinics for ages 7–17 in June, but to get a head start consider signing your child up for individual or group lessons year-round. Extra Innings’ staff includes former and current professional and college ballplayers along with area coaches from college and high school campuses. A half-hour small group lesson runs $25 and a $45-private lesson gets you instruction that focuses on pitching, hitting or fielding. Get $15 off when you purchase a Player Pack. If your tyke can’t get enough, Extra Innings also has indoor leagues that play all year long.
