Location: 3700 Briargrove Lane, near the corner of Briargrove and Marsh lanes.
What makes it noteworthy: This playground is a pleasant place for your kids to climb, jump, run and slide on a sunny day. Bridges and rope ladders for smaller kiddos encourage curiosity and exploration during playtime. The play area for older children includes several ropes courses and balance-challenging objects to get little bodies and minds moving. This playground isn’t large, but it leaves lots of room for imagination.
Extras: Large grassy areas surround the perimeter of the playground, so bring along a Frisbee or football. Kids can fly high on several swings, located in between the two play structures. Parents can enjoy watching their children play on both playgrounds from several benches scattered around the area.
Safety: Barry H. Barker Park scored an A* on the Safety Report Card.
