Art Transformed

Cali-turned-Texas gal (and fellow mom) Nicole Boykin, wears her art on her sleeve. Literally. Her apparel and handbag line, Koch, originates from her own artwork—drawings and paintings on canvas, which are then (through the help of a graphic designer) transformed into fabrics, silk-screened by hand. From these one of kind textiles and fabrics, Boykin produces apparel, handbags, clutches and totes—chic, original and manufactured by local artisans in Texas and New York. This trendsetter finds inspiration from her travels to Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. Her Bohemia-by-way-of-the-beach style is reflected in her highly covetable goods. Check out the line’s large luxe totes with enough room for your essentials and all those other things a mom essentially needs while out on the town—a sippy cup, extra diapers, a toy or two and snacks to boot!
