Summer Fun at the #1 Zoo in the U.S.

Enjoy 64 acres full of exotic encounters

COVID-19 is sticking around and with the kiddos out of school, we’re all going a little stir crazy. The Fort Worth Zoo offers 64 acres of predominately outdoor exhibits and pathways that allow for social distancing and make it the perfect day out. Not to mention, the Fort Worth Zoo recently ranked No. 1 in USA Today’s Best Zoos in North America contest. See how the Fort Worth Zoo can help you make it through the summer with COVID-19.

In compliance with the executive order of Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley and Tarrant County Commissioners Court, all Zoo staff and guests 10 years of age and older are required to wear a face covering on Zoo grounds.

A (Safe) Outing

To reduce lines, the Zoo has transitioned to an online reservation system. There are limited number of guests per day, and guests will choose the time block they want to enter. Online reservations are required, including for members; ticket booths are closed. Printed tickets or barcodes on cellphones will be scanned, allowing for touchless entry. So be sure to reserve online before heading to the Zoo! Guests are responsible for practicing social distancing and keeping at least 6 feet of space between other guests and staff. Additional handwashing stations have been added.

Cool Off

What better way to let the kids cool off than play in the Zoo’s 14,000-square-foot water park, Safari Splash. Limited capacity will help achieve social distancing. Check out the Zoo’s adjusted hours that comply with local and state regulations. Mask not required in wet zone. (Zoo Members save $1.)
