Are you a Fort Worth mama who loves her coffee? But you don’t have a spot that is great for you and the kiddos? Our mommy blogger Lauren—who lives in Fort Worth—was in the same boat. So she found a few kid-friendly coffee shops where you can get your caffeine fix, and the littles can have their fun.
I feel like central Fort Worth has truly been missing a kid-friendly coffee shop. So many shops are small, filled with business people or students, and the second you walk in with a kid you are given the glare (you know what I mean). However, I am here to let you know that we have been blessed with a a few great shops with kids in mind that are full of friendly faces.
Summer Moon Coffee
Summer Moon Coffee is a Texas-based coffee company with coffee beans roasted in Austin in wood-fired brick ovens. They have a signature moon milk they use to help create your perfect coffee creation.
The atmosphere is laid back and happy. I love the set up because there are two stories and the kids area is right up by the front window. You don’t feel guilty bringing your kiddos because there is plenty of space for those who need to get work done.
Annabelle loved getting to tinker with toys and look out the window at all of the cars. I saw several other kids there with parents, which made me feel more comfortable. They also had yummy treats for the whole family and the coffee was amazing!
The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My first time there, I was very unsure of what to order—I love black coffee, but also love a sweet coffee treat every once and awhile. So I ordered a ½ Moon based on the barista’s sweetness recommendation after I described what I liked. It hit the spot (I’m craving another one just writing about it).
This is a great coffee shop to pop in, check out and become a regular. I definitely see play dates, work dates and coffee chats happening a lot at this location. It has so many great features that can fit so many different lifestyles.
Buon Giorno Coffee
This recommendation comes to me from several other mama friends. The atmosphere is so friendly and accommodating to kiddos. They have highchairs and can easily fit strollers—a huge win for mamas with littles.

East Parker Coffee Co.
This is another amazing coffee shop I stumbled upon in Aledo, thanks to Google. This coffee shop is massive. It has books and toys for kids to play with and a ton of seating options, so if you go with other children, there is space for them to play around while you enjoy your cup of coffee. With all the seating options, other patrons still have plenty of room.

I love that the tides are changing and establishments are taking note to make their facilities more inclusive for families. It sure does make mom life just a little bit easier—especially when it comes with a little caffeine boost!
