Actors Conservatory Theatre

Ballet Concerto

Ballet Frontier

City of Highland Village
Celebrate the holiday season, visit with Santa and his reindeer, and plunge down the giant snow hill at Christmas at the Ranch! Join us Dec. 14 at Doubletree Ranch Park from 10am–2pm.

City of Irving
Irving’s Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting will be held on Dec. 7 at 5pm in the Heritage District. The Tree Lighting follows the parade at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., with a fireworks show finale.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Visits with Santa: Wednesday evenings from 6–9pm, Nov. 13–Dec. 18
Saturday & Sunday noon–4pm, Nov. 30–Dec. 22, Pecan Grove
Bring the kids to share their Christmas wishes with the Jolly Old Man.

Dallas Repertoire Ballet
Celebrate the holiday season as Dallas Repertoire Ballet presents the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker, Dec. 13–15 at the Eisemann Center, including a sensory-friendly performance for children with special needs on Dec. 14 at 2pm.

Dallas SPARK!

Denton Holiday Lighting Festival
Join us on the Denton Square for music, food, family fun, and holiday spirit at this one-of-a-kind community event! It’s free, with food and activities available for purchase—but please bring a toy for our toy drive benefitting Elves Shelves.

Disney Jr. Holiday Party Live! at The Theatre at Grand Prairie
Dec. 8. Sing along to holiday hits with your favorite characters at this interactive live concert experience. Featuring live appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Vampirina, Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Puppy Dog Pals, Fancy Nancy, and special guest Santa Claus!

Explorium Denton Children’s Museum

All aboard! Polar Pajama Parties are your chance to enjoy wintry hands-on activities coupled with the classic holiday film The Polar Express at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History!

Fort Worth Stockyards
Cowboy Santa’s arrival kicks off the holiday season at the Stockyards on Nov. 29 following the 11:30am cattle drive. Activities through the season include photos with Santa, cowboy poetry, storytime with Mrs. Claus and more!

Gaylord Texan Resort
From Nov. 15, 2019 to Jan. 5, 2020, Gaylord Texan Resort will transform into a winter wonderland featuring millions of holiday lights, lavish decor, hand-carved ice, snow tubing, ice skating, gingerbread decorating and so much more!

Gift Of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway
Enjoy the magic of the holidays at Texas Motor Speedway Gift of Lights. Over 1 mile of gigantic light displays. Drive through the raceway, get a picture with Santa, ride the Santa Tram, ice skate, with refreshments in Santa’s Village!

Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau

Grapevine Parks and Recreation

Greater Denton Arts Council
Free! Every third Saturday morning of the month Greater Donuts, Arts, & Crafts. Activities for the whole family from 10:30am–noon. Free donuts, make-and-take crafts, scavenger hunt and more. Something different each month.

Hanukkah Hoopla at the Aaron Family JCC
Join us for a free event on Sunday, Dec. 8, from noon–4pm to explore all of our local and unique vendors as well as enjoy family activities and delicious kosher foods.

Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary
Experience the most unique North Texas holiday event at Holidays at the Heard, featuring live entertainment and a nature trail accentuated with holiday décor. See life-size animatronic dinosaurs along a nature trail at Dinosaurs Live!

Heritage Farmstead Museum

Irving Arts Center
The annual open house Friday, Dec. 6, headlines IAC’s “Holiday of Masterpieces” with train-rides, refreshments, art, activities and free performances in the theaters. Family photos with Santa are offered “Santa Saturdays” on Dec. 7, 14, 21.

Lakeside Holiday Event
Kick off the holiday season at The Shops at Lakeside on Friday, Nov. 29, from 5–9pm, and enjoy free carriage rides, Santa, hot cocoa, treats, and the season-ending, Christmas-infused Lakeside Music Series!

Panther Island Ice returns this holiday season! Located at Coyote Drive-In, Fort Worth’s outdoor ice skating rink offers public skating Nov. 22–Jan. 20, everyday, including holidays. There’s free parking, covered seating, gas heaters, restrooms, playground, and the coyote canteen.

Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show
A historical Wild West Show every Saturday at 2:30pm & 4:30pm, with a special Thanksgiving showing on 11/29! Featuring trick roping, shooting and riding, as well as cowboy songs and an entertaining look at history.

Make holiday memories with this interactive art exhibit, featuring a variety of unique displays in 10 different rooms. Combining the technology of today with traditional art forms, visitors can share their multi-sensory experience through social media or through IRL interactions.

Prairie Lights
