Through the Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) department at North Central Texas College, you’ll develop career skills and receive the necessary training to achieve your professional goals and pursue the career you’ve always wanted. Many companies flocking to North Texas are in need of employees skilled in the business, technical and computer technology and legal sectors––a career in these industries is well within reach.
Knowing how to navigate computer software’s, such as Microsoft Office, is essential for many professions. NCTC has programs for those who are learning about computer software’s and technology for the first time and for those who just need a refresher. If you’ve never worked with Microsoft, enrolling in introduction courses to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint may be the best option for you. There is even an eight-hour fast track option for each course, so you can get through the class in one day.

From leadership skills to workplace communication and time management, you’ll receive the tools and knowledge to revamp your career. Other courses span from four, eight to 16 weeks, including weekend boot camps so you can quickly knock out a certification without having to put other responsibilities on hold.
