Welcome to the Neighborhood
Coppell and Valley Ranch residents love the small-town feel and the family-friendly events going on throughout the year, whether it’s cake decorating at the local library, sampling food truck fare at Coppell’s Food Truck Frenzy or snow tubing at Frost Fest in Cimarron Park.

Green Scene
● CAMPION TRAIL NORTH
The northern section of the Campion Trail (the whole thing will stretch 22 miles when complete) winds along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Start at Sam Houston Trail Park to explore by foot or bike.

For $10, take over a plot and grow vegetables for your own kitchen and for the Metrocrest Services food pantry.

● COPPELL NATURE PARK AT WAGON WHEEL PARK
More than 5 miles of nature trails stretch out over this 66-acre park. Come spot the wildlife from the trails or from the creekside observation deck. But leave your wheels at home—no bikes or strollers allowed.

● COPPELL FARMERS MARKET
Come for the Garden Time for Kids at 10:30am every market day to see what’s growing, sample the vegetables in season and do a short garden activity. Year-round, open 8am–noon weekly on Saturdays April–November and every other Saturday during the winter from December–March. Located at Old Town Coppell next to a farm-themed playground and an interactive fountain.

This green-constructed education center located at Coppell Nature Park opens its doors for special activities including environmental and gardening education programs, often with live animals.

● CIMARRON FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER
Spend your summer days at this neighborhood water park next door to the Cimarron Park Rec Center, equipped with a splash playground, slides and a zero-depth entry pool that connects to a five-lane lap pool.

● THE SQUARE IN OLD TOWN COPPELL
The hub for family fun events throughout the year, including the Saturday farmers market; a fall music series; October’s Scare on the Square, where kiddos can dress up to trick or treat at surrounding businesses; and Christmas themed activities in December.

● URBAN AIR TRAMPOLINE PARK
Kids can pretend to be Spider-Man or Catwoman as they jump across trampolines and fight with foam swords on the battle beam (safely surrounded by foam squares). The park hosts birthday parties too.
