Welcome to the Neighborhood
Comfortable neighborhoods and access to some of the area’s top private schools make this pocket of Dallas a desirable but more affordable option for families with young kids. While the popular Disney Streets of Midway Hills give families the chance to live in a charming mid-century home on a road named for a favorite animated character, stately properties in the Bluffview and Bachman Creek neighborhoods offer ritzy accommodations nestled into the area’s scenic greenery, or, for the lucky few, above the creek for striking backyard views. As Northwest Dallas is located right next to Love Field with convenient access to North Texas’ other airport and the brand-new entertainment options in Las Colinas, it’s easy to get out of town—but there are reasons to stick around, thanks to a couple of amusements parks, recreation opportunities around Bachman Lake and more.
