After four years of infertility struggles, North Richland Hills mom-to-be Alicia Winkelblech was thrilled to be surrounded by friends to celebrate her growing bump with a pajama party. Winkelblech’s friends had a feeling that her baby would be a boy (though his gender was a surprise), so they wanted to shower her in pink, gold and all things girlie before little man Kyle arrived.
Urban Magnolia Wedding and Events coordinated the shower for Winkelblech and 25 of her close friends. Guests sipped sparkling wine and juice dressed with raspberries and pomegranate tendrils while getting pampered with hair and makeup by Erin Blair Makeup & Hair Design and nail services by Jamberry.
Guests snapped instant photos in a funky photo booth with signs and costumes and then placed the images in a scrapbook for the expectant mom to keep. Childhood games such as MASH (you remember — mansion, apartment, shack or house) played into the sleepover theme.
Attendees snacked on chocolate truffles from Delicious Cakes and candies from Yelibelly Chocolates — both made with edible 14-carat gold — and a popcorn bar throughout the event. Table signage and decor were handmade by Urban Magnolia.
