Local Sources for Party Invitations

One of the more stressful parts of planning your child’s birthday party can be the invitation (Is the date correct? Did I spell my kid’s name right?). Leave it to the pros at a local stationery store to help you get the who, what, when and where together and we’ll give you the “why”: they will make the party planning fun from the beginning and help your child’s party invitation stand out amongst the others on the fridge.

WHO: The Paper Lion

Locally owned with three locations, you can stop once and pick up everything you need for the party (and maybe even a little something for yourself!). Choose from more than 200 fun and colorful children’s invitations that are in stock. All three stores have a typesetter on staff who can help you create a one-of-a-kind invitation or help you select the perfect invite for your theme party (if you have a theme, they have the invite). Once you select the invite (that could take awhile with so many cute options!), proofs are created and emailed within 24 hours and, once it is approved, the printing begins. They also have custom cups, napkins and decorations for your party needs.

This professional shop has and does it all. With an in-house printer, four calligraphers available, and a vast selection of stationery and invitations, Write Selection is a great selection. Standard invitations can take a couple of days to get back after you go through an easy proofing process. They also offer custom invites, but they can take a couple of weeks to return. Staff will guide you to the perfect invite for your kiddo’s party (hamburger man or petting zoo?) and help you with the appropriate wording. They also provide stamping and stuffing services (no licking envelopes or paper cuts)! If you’re looking to make the birthday extra special, Write Selection can adorn invitations with glitter or even Swarovski crystals for that little princess in your life.
