Late Night at the DMA

Cost: $15; free for kids 11 and younger and DMA members. Some exhibitions require an additional ticket.
Late Night Talk at 7pm: Food and Storytelling in The Artists’ and Writers’ Cookbook: A Collection of Stories with Recipes, edited by Natalie Eve Garrett, combines a love of food with a love of storytelling. A book signing will follow the talk.
Late Night After Hours Music Showcase from 10-11pm: featuring Dallas vocalist Damon K. Clark in Atrium
Late Night Main Stage from 8-9pm: Listen to contemporary jazz performed by critically acclaimed songstress Breggett Rideau in the Atrium.
Late Night Film at 9pm: The Hundred-Foot Journey (rated PG, 2014, 122 minutes) is a story about food bringing people together. Set in a village in the southern French countryside, it stars Helen Mirren as Madam Mallory, the proud owner of a Michelin star restaurant celebrated for its traditional French cuisine.
On the third Friday of each month, the museum is open until midnight. Each Late Night offers hundreds of experiences for visitors of all ages with performances, concerts, readings, film screenings, tours and family programs. See website for monthly themes as activities are updated.
