When it comes to planning parties, Frisco mom Miesha Jones knows a thing or two about making them one-of-a-kind. So when the Love Jones Designs founder’s son, Roman, turned 4, she drew inspiration from her son’s favorite character: Spider-Man. Seventeen of Roman’s closest friends dressed in their superhero costumes and gathered at The Coop in Frisco for a wham-bam smashing-good celebration.

Spider-Man himself visited the party thanks to It’s a Party Today entertainers. After Spidey led the guests in a “Macarena” contest and miniature fitness competition, the kids munched on cake. The two-tiered cake from Bake Rejoice in Plano featured a Spider-Man topper that shot faux spider webs.

Jones used comic book signs to decorate the color-coordinated gelatin samples, trail mix, Chex mix, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies treats, macarons from Cupcakes Cubed and popcorn. Jones crafted the table’s centerpiece, superhero-themed letters spelling “Roman,” from scratch.
