Attend the spring sessions of Growing Up Wild with your toddler (age 3–6) for programs including scientific exploration, music, art and a snack. Programs are held rain or shine.

March 20: Seed Need

Children explore seeds as food for people and animals. How do seeds get moved around to grow plants in new places? Discover how animals spread seeds. This program includes scientific exploration, music, art and a seed-filled snack.

April 3: Bird Beak Buffet

How does the structure and function of different bird beaks influence the bird’s ability to gather food? Children are introduced to adaptations for animal survival. This program includes scientific exploration, music, art and a bird-friendly snack.

April 17: Owl Pellets

What did the owl have for lunch? Children dissect an owl pellet and learn about what owls eat. This program includes scientific exploration, music, art and a wise snack.

May 1: Aqua Charades

How do people, animals and plants use water? Through scientific exploration, music, art, children discover the importance of water. This program includes a snack to discover how water changes food.
