Spend a Saturday afternoon back in time, in the 1840s of the Republic of Texas. Come to the Peters Colony Land Grant Office and meet the surveyor as he helps you and your family find the perfect spot for your own land grant.

Then visit with a Texas pioneer in the Log House as she spins and weaves thread and cloth for her family.

After that, don’t forget to visit Mrs. Julia Gilbert in the Old Rock House. She’ll tell you all about her husband’s profession as a pioneer doctor and her own life on the Texas frontier.

This event is family friendly. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and interact with their guide as much as they wish.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.
