Be inspired this year during Engineers Week. Engineering opportunities abound as you engage in hands-on and mind-challenging activities. Imagine, design, test and improve your ideas while you collaborate with area engineers and experience the wonder of engineering.

Each day will feature a chance to solve engineering challenges, talk with practicing engineers and try out skills engineers use every day. Don't miss the chance to:

Take apart broken electronics with electrical engineers, then find ways to make components work once again.

Create whimsical paper objects and test them in different wind tunnels.

Build a sound sandwich - an incredibly simple, but unusual musical instrument.

And so much more!

Engineers Week activities are offered:

February 20–21: 10am–2pm

February 22: 10am–4pm

February 23: 10am–2pm

February 24: 11am–5pm

Girls Engineering Day: Saturday, February 24 from 12-4pm. Looking for ways to inspire girls to explore the wonders of engineering? Join special activities just for girls led by local women engineers.

Open to school field trips for kids in second grade and older. School groups of 15 or more can book field trips in advance by calling 817/255-9440.
